The procurement procedure has been launched for the overhaul and repair of approximately 1,135 freight wagons series E (5379, 595 and 596) and approximately 115 freight wagons series S (455) on the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Client e-Procurement Portal (ECEPP).
The procurement will be conducted through an open two-stage tender procedure with prequalification. The total value of the procurement amounts to EUR 16.67 million, and the deadline for submission of prequalification documentation is April 24, 2026.
This procurement is part of a broader Serbia Cargo JSC rolling stock renewal project, which is being implemented through a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The project aims to modernize the rolling stock of Serbia Cargo JSC and reduce environmental pollution in railway freight transport, which will significantly improve the quality and capacity of rail freight services.
